Thanks to much hard work by Jair Mayhall, we were able to complete our application for 501(c) (3) status, and were approved in Dec 2008. This means all donations to the foundation are Tax deductible retroactive to our incorporation in 2006.

The 2009 fundraiser was held on Februrary 28 in Blue Springs. Despite the rough weather, we had a remarkable time, and record turn out. We had over 90 guests and 100 in attendance for an evening of Dinner, Poker, and Trivia. The Foundation was able to bring in over $14,600

All 2009 Tax Receipt letters (as well as registration forms for 2010 event) were mailed today (1/21/2010). You should be receiving them by no later then early next week. Thanks to our treasurer, Jeff Brengarth for pulling all of the tax data together for the mailing.
